The 2024 Polestar 3 is the first SUV from Polestar’s parent company, Volvo. It is set to go on sale in 2024 and be built in Volvo’s South Carolina factory. The car will also be built in China, in Chengdu. Despite being an SUV, it has several differences.

The 2024 Polestar 3 will be equipped with dual electric motors and a 111-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery pack. The standard model will offer a range of 300 miles before needing to be recharged. The Performance model will have a slightly lower range of 270 miles per charge.

The new Polestar 3 will be a luxury SUV with a plethora of technological features. The two-motor drivetrain will feature a rear-biased, electric torque vectoring. Its base output will be 489 horsepower, and it will be upgradable to 517 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. The car will also come standard with adaptive air suspension.

The first deliveries will be in late 2023 and early 2024. The Polestar SUV will be manufactured at two different plants, depending on the market. In the US, the car will be produced at Volvo’s plant in South Carolina, while in China, it will be manufactured at its plant in Chengdu.

The 2024 Polestar 3 will also come with an optional Pilot Pack that adds additional sensors and cameras. This will help the car navigate and park itself without the help of the driver. It will also come with an LIDAR and radar systems. These sensors will allow the car to scan the environment in 3D. These technologies are expected to be used in future autonomous driving systems.

Prices for the Polestar 3 will be $85,300 for the base model. Options will include the Pilot and Plus packs, and a Performance pack. The company is expected to offer a tax credit after the car goes on sale in mid-2024. In addition, it will also feature a soft-closing rear door, a heads-up display, and Bowers & Wilkins 3D audio system.

The Polestar 3 is Volvo’s third model and the automaker’s first SUV. It features a dual-motor setup and a high-riding seating position. Its range is over 480 kilometers and it can charge via a 250-kW fast charger. The Polestar 3’s aerodynamic profile will help to reduce drag and maximize fuel efficiency.

The 2020 Polestar 3 will come with a head-up display and a semi-autonomous driving suite. It will also have an electrically adjustable steering column, heated steering wheel, and soft-close doors. A few options will be available for the Pilot Pack, including a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system and a heated steering wheel.

The new Polestar 3 is based on the same platform as the EX90 three-row SUV. It will have two rows of seats, which are comfortable for three adults. The second row is roomy but might be cramped for a tall person, but two six-footers can sit comfortably front-to-back. It also features a 60/40 split-rear seat with a pass-through for longer items.
